Comment to DM
LiliFlow reads what each person writes in a comment on a Reel or post and turns it into a DM that answers that specific thing, not a canned message repeated for everyone. It all runs through Meta's official API, with no flow builder to set up.
The whole flow
From the comment on the Reel to the voice note in the DM. Under each step is what it costs in credit — three of the four cost nothing.

Not a keyword matching a canned answer. The AI classifies the intent of that specific comment.

Ask about price, get price. Ask about delivery, get delivery. One rule handles both.

A person comments on your Reel or post using the keyword set up in your LiliFlow campaign.
LiliFlow picks up the comment through Meta's official API, and the AI reads what the person actually wrote, not just the isolated keyword.
LiliFlow sends the private reply — a DM about that specific comment — and logs the send in your dashboard.
From comment to DM
No canned message on repeat — the AI reads the comment before replying in the DM.
When someone comments the configured keyword under a Reel, LiliFlow catches that event through Meta's official API almost instantly. Step one is a short public reply confirming the comment was received, which keeps the social proof of that comment visible to everyone else looking at the post.
Step two is the private reply itself: a DM opened specifically because of that comment, using Meta's exception that allows a business to message someone with no ongoing conversation, as long as it is in response to a comment — and only once per comment.
The difference between basic automation and LiliFlow's AI-powered comment-to-DM is what happens after the keyword is detected. In basic automation, everyone who comments the same keyword gets the same text. With AI turned on, LiliFlow reads the whole comment and writes a DM about that: if someone asked about price, the reply talks about price; if they asked about the course format, it talks about format.
Each AI-generated reply costs 10 credits. A 30-second cloned-voice audio reply, for creators who want to answer by voice instead of text, costs 200 credits — a feature no other Instagram automation tool offers today.
Comment-to-DM works because Meta carves out a specific exception for it: replying to a comment with a private message, even if that person has never sent a DM before. Outside that exception, a business can only message someone who has already commented, replied to a Story, or messaged within a 24-hour window.
That means LiliFlow will never promise a bulk send to a follower list, because that simply does not exist inside the official API. Every DM has a traceable origin: a real comment, from a real person, on a real post.
Setting up comment-to-DM in LiliFlow does not go through a flow editor with blocks and conditions. It is picking the Reel or post, writing the keyword that triggers the automation, and writing the base DM that the AI personalizes based on each person's comment.
FAQ
It is the feature that turns a public Instagram comment into a private direct message about that same topic. LiliFlow detects the comment using the configured keyword and replies in the DM using Meta's private-reply exception.
Not if AI is turned on. With AI, LiliFlow reads the full comment text and writes a reply about that specific topic; without AI, everyone who uses the same keyword gets the same configured text.
Yes, once per comment — that is exactly the exception in Meta's official API that makes comment-to-DM possible. Outside that exception, a business can only message someone who has already commented, replied to a Story, or sent a DM within 24 hours.
Each AI-generated reply costs 10 credits. A 30-second cloned-voice audio reply costs 200 credits. Basic automation without AI does not consume credits on any plan.
No. You write the base DM once, and the AI adapts the reply to what each person commented, with no need to build a separate flow for every possible question.
LiliFlow's comment-to-DM mechanism works on comments under posts and Reels; replying to Story interactions follows the normal direct-message rule inside the 24-hour window.
